Measure before you send
Measure is a first-class AI Paper tool. The quick mode lives inside the tiny assistant; Precision Measure opens a deeper workspace with live coordinates, source-pixel dimensions, crosshairs, magnification, and keyboard fine tuning.
Crosshairs follow the pointer while X, Y, width and height update continuously. The number should move with you, not appear only after the crop is finished.
Control + Arrow nudges the selection by one source pixel. Command + Arrow adjusts its size by one source pixel. Shift turns either into a 10-pixel step.
A small pixel loupe makes it easier to land on an exact edge instead of guessing at normal browser zoom.
For an imported image, measure against its natural resolution. For screen sharing, map the preview back to the capture stream’s native videoWidth × videoHeight rather than trusting CSS display size.
The Free Lite build requires a crop before still capture or recording, which reduces accidental exposure outside the intended area.
